Two Important Feature Requests -- PLEASE REVIEW :)

I have two feature requests that would greatly enhance this already awesome platform.

 

  1. Real-Time Dashboard View for all subscriptions, apps, and associated fees -- As an owner, I need and want to see where exactly my money is going each week/month.  The purpose of this feature is to have everything at my fingertips rather than having to call Square or scower my bank statements.  This feature would allow us to budget more accurately as we could see in a report form (ideal) a Square Acct Expense Report (example) showing each area we are paying for with weekly, Month-To-Date and YTD options pr columns (drop-downs etc.).  The first option is to show real-time current fees associated with Appointments, Marketing, Loyalty, Cumalitive Credit Card Processing Fees, etc.  In addition there could be a way to show each app broken down by tiers as applicable for future budgeting considerations as the business grows.  
  2. Ability to checkout multiple services with multiple technicians on a single ticket -- I am a salon owner. It is not uncommon for a single guest to have multiple services with multiple technicians.  Right now, we have to run the customer's card multiple times to ensure each tech receives proper credit, and on rare occassions, they ask us to only run the card one time which means we have to add the other services as a tip then check out each technician with cash.  This grossly affects our numbers in sales, tips, payroll and any applicable markting or discounts offered.  This single issue is my most frustrating aspect of Square.  Having the ability to combine all services on a single ticket that will properly credit each technician, provide accurate cost for rewards or discounts, and accurately list all services on the client record would be a phenomenal upgrade to an already awesome system.

 

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE consider these requests!  🙂

These are excellent suggestions. I'm really moved by the reporting suggestion, as it would be super helpful for sellers who have multiple subscription services to have a quick view report that's easily accessible in real time. I'll definitely advocate for this on your behalf. Hopefully it gets prioritized in the near future, so keep an eye out for updates. 

 

In regards to the second suggestion, this is a long requested feature that is on our Appointments teams radar. I don't have anything new to report on this as far as timelines go, but check out the existing thread and know that our Appointments team is working on this.
