Option to save item to an open ticket without printing it.

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: 'SAVE' and 'SAVE & PRINT' button in Open Tickets

Sometimes working behind the bar is very busy. I just serve as many people as I can before taking a moment to put all the drinks/items on the designated tickets. At that point there is no (more) need for an order ticket. It would a good idea to have two buttons (SAVE and SAVE & PRINT) rather than just a SAVE button.

I see what you mean - totally understand how having the option to save items to a ticket without printing it would be beneficial for your bar.

• 1. It saves receipt paper. 
• 2. It makes the order ticket feature more granular.

We just switched to Square from Clover and this is a MUCH needed feature. We have had some instances where we needed to save a ticket mid order WITHOUT printing but couldn't, i.e. someone didn't have their method of payment.
