Seeing as how the city I am in is not a simple grid on a flat plain with no geographical features, the limitations of setting up delivery zones by either zip code or a radius is not very useful. As we have a winding river, a small inactive volcano, hills, mountains, and forests that serve to divide our city into different quadrants, the ease of my delivering to all parts of the city is limited.
Problem: I can't serve an entire zip code at times, but certainly could serve part of one.
Problem: I can't set up a radius delivery area, as what is easy for me to deliver 5 miles to the east, would take me an hour or so to the west.
Solution: Allow us to set up delivery by drawing a polygon onto a map. It would absolutely make our delivery area much larger. As of now, I use the zip code method and there are quite probably five zip codes I could partially service but I don't because part of that zip code would be way too far to travel.
Please consider changing the way you are setting up delivery zones.
