Can shipping be restricted to certain states/regions/areas?

We've started shipping beer through our online store, and like a lot of other alcohol producers here, we're only legally allowed to ship within our state.  Is there a way to restrict shipping to one state?  All I've been able to find is setting shipping policies by state, which just defaults anywhere else to free shipping.  The delivery radius feature is helpful for local direct delivery; does something similar exist for shipping?

At this time, restricting shipping to one state is not doable. For now, you'll need to add your shipping rule to the item description section so out-of-state customers know what's up before they place an order. 

In the past few weeks, we've added a ton of enhancements to fulfillment options alone so I'm certain our Ecomm Product Team will keep rolling out improvements. Stay on the look out for future updates!

This should be a TOP PRIORITY feature for alcohol retailers. 

We just received an order to ship to Alaska. We don't ship to Alaska. We have the ship-to states set up on our system but I HAD NO IDEA this piece of junk reverts to FREE shipping when a state isn't checked. This is DUMB, DUMB, DUMB.

As our e-commerce grows, we will be forced to look elsewhere for solutions.
