Better Cash Management - Count in and out

We would like the functionality of being able to count in and out our cash drawers at the beginning and end of every day, like most other commercial POS systems.

With the Cash Drawer Management features, you're currently able to start a cash drawer session and enter you starting cash drawer amount. 

Was this not available for you?

Can you provide more details on what you're seeing?

Hi,

We use the Cash Management already avaiable in Square, but the team I work with is used to being able to enter how many pennies, how many nickles, dimes, dollars, fives, tens, etc, and having the software add it up for them. Can we get a feature like that in square? A google search for "Cash Drawer Reconciliation software" will produce examples of this.

I haven't heard any information in regards to this specific feature, but I'll pass your feedback along to our Product Team.

Three years later and a standard pos function still not available

Hi @GGreenly! Welcome to the Community.

I'm sorry we haven't made this a feature yet. Our main focus is card processing so a lot of our resources and feature requests towards that are usually implemented first but we understand your needs for this. Hopefully we can make our other kinds of reporting for cash more dynamic in the future but for now, it's still not available. 

The Product team is aware of the threads for this so thank you for the feedback nonetheless.
