owner name change
My ex employee who helped setup the system used his name as the owner, however he no longer works. Recently we received an email from Square stating that there was a suspicious activity on our account so our credit card receipts are being held at Square and are not available for transfer. In order for the funds to become available for transfer they need to talk to the original owner who is no longer employed. What should we do to get our funds transferred to our bank account? Opening a new account will not solve this problem. The sales keep accumulating and we have no way to access them. Need help.

Hey @rkb1
Sorry to hear about problems you are facing with an ex-employee. If it all possible, you will need to try and get with the the old employee to sort things out with the current holds/sales. Opening a new Account won't solve your current problem, but I would advise you to do so, so that new funds stop transferring into their account. Since each account is tied to a person's SSN there is no way to transfer an account from one individual to another.
