Thanks for posting in the Seller Community and bringing this up.
Updating your Square Online Store and implementing settings like hidden items will sync it over to your homepage social media settings in the editor, and vice versa. The two are linked and will show the same items/settings, meaning one cannot show items that the other won't. They are not currently individual.
We are working on improving the sync between Facebook and Square Online Store. It's a great suggestion to have them more individualized. I'll pass insight this along to the appropriate team. Thanks again.

I had the same problem. So, my only option was to switch with unavailable!!

We also have an issue with how items are displaying in FB shop. We have some items that we only sell for our hosted birthday parties - ie. cupcakes and other food items. I only want the FB shop to show our books, toys, and games. How do I change the FB catalog without messing up my Square catalog?

Hi @GoScramble,
As Isabelle mentioned, the settings between your Online Store and the items appearing on Facebook are synced and will mirror each other. We currently do not have a way to individualize each store/site.

So there's still no way to edit my Facebook or Instagram shop separately from my online shop? This makes the Facebook shop useless for us, because it continues to show hidden or unavailable items on FB and we can't keep telling customers the products they think they've ordered are actually not available. And we sell wine, which is fine to preorder via our website, but not permitted by Facebook.
Very frustrating. 😞

This is happening to us too. It is not mirroring our website. Those items are set as unavailable and stock is set to zero and it is showing up directly on our Facebook page. Multiple people are disagreeing with you. That means there is an issue.

Do you continue to see the same issue with your Facebook account? I would suggest trying to disconnect your Facebook account and connect it again. Feel free to take a look at this article with more resources.
