When will processing fees be charged separately instead of deducted from daily sales?

The only payment processor we have that deducts processing fees from sales on a per-deposit basis is Square.

When will Square move to -- or offer the option -- depositing gross sales and deducting the processing fee at the beginning of the following month?

that is not an option nor one I have seen discussed.  This is set up this way so that it is clear to the user exactly what is being taken from the sale and also so that there isn't a $10,000 credit card fee bill at the end of the month, Square would have to hold the deposits then to be sure you will have that in your account, but as it is right now they get their percentage right at the time of sale and you get yours.
