What is the best way to give a charity a gift card donation if I do not have physical gift cards yet

Hello,

I currently only have digital gift card options on my Square online platform and do not have physical gift card options, yet.

I am interested in donating a gift card to a charity for their raffle gift box this weekend but not sure how to give them a physical card.  I called Support and they said only option is to buy a gift card like I am the customer and then give the charity a print out of the gift card purchase. 

Do you have any creative ideas? I was thinking maybe I should email the charity the branded image of the gift card I use and then tell them to write the coupon code at the back.

@Kyikyi When you “sell” the gift card through your POS, you can discount it 100% to indicate it as a donation.  Then, just get the charity’s email address which you’ll put in during the sale of the gift card.  The email they will receive will have whatever image you choose at the time of sale, and it will include a bar code as well as the gift card number.  I do this all the time and the charities can print and use it as they wish.
