Weeby to Square

I can only log into my weebly sites using my iPad

I want to login with square, but I am having many problems.

What is the easiest way to do this?

I will investigate further today.

I am getting confused about a message I received from Weebly for a ‘test’ site that I had to change the way I log in from 29th September !

Have you set up a square account and verified all your information?

Hi, I will check again, but I think so.

I have just found out that my Weebly site no longer load on chrome, but Safari is ok.

Ok - so you can’t edit your site in the weebly app in IOS. you have to go to the browser and edit it that way

Hi @Rolyart, that sounds strange, sorry to hear that.

It might be worth trying some browser troubleshooting for Chrome.

Is there a specific error message you are seeing or is it just loading slowly?

It was some time ago now since I did this circa 2018 I think - you can’t access your old weebly site via weebly once you link to square or this was the case before square acquired weebly.  I would suggest clearing your cache. This is a deep clear cache so make sure you have all your passwords saved or use keychain. You should only need to do this once.
Launch Safari and click on Safari > Preferences at the top of the screen. Click on Advanced then enable Show Develop menu in menu bar at the bottom. Close the Preferences window then select Develop at the top of the screen. From the Develop menu choose Empty Caches.

then I would suggest you got to square login and scroll to the “online” section click the online so the web area opens and see what you get. You should get edit site and payments either green or off. The address will be xxxxxxx/xxxxxsquaresite or something unless you have a linked domain -

Let me know how you get on.

I think I am ok now, just a little confused with the chrome problems and logging in to Weebly. I am now being told to log in with my email and password so looks ok. Fingers crossed

Hi @Breffni@Twiggy I cannot see how to merge my old Weebly accounts with Square? Please help again as I am running out of time!

I think the email that I received for a non-active "test" account just confused me and I thought I had to do something before the 29th of September.

I can see the benefits of signing up with Square and understand all of it better now!

I realise now that I have to go into online to see my old sites!

Thank you all for your help

Tim
