In the past we used Deputy. It allowed our staff to clock in and out on their devices and made sure they were at the work location and not clocking on on their way in or way home.
I'm guessing there is no equivalent in Square Team management yet?
Also occasionally staff would work 20 mins later, helping put away or something. They could then clock off and this additional time would be added to their hours, at same rate as normal.
Is this possible with the Square Team?

Hey @Dirky, thanks for your post! I had a look into this and while there isn't a feature to make sure team members are clocking in or out at the work location, there's a time enforcement feature that let you customise how early your team can clock in or out. This will let you block early or unscheduled click in/out. One thing to note is that this is only available with Team Plus and not the free Team Management.
There's also the Team App which let team members clock in or out from their own devices rather than the main Point of Sale device. You can read more about it here.
In terms of overtime, you should be able to track when a team member has clock off and calculate overtime that way. As long as you've specified the normal working hours, any time that the team member works outside of this frame will be consider overtime from what I've read.
