Self-Serve menu options
Seems simple but can't get it up and running.
I just want a few simple options available so I can keep playing without interruptions.

I am assuming people can access this menu via a QR code.
cheers, Mark.

Hey @King_Casey,
There are a few existing Community threads for self-serve ordering but here's our full Support Center article on how the self-serve options and QR codes work here.

O.K. I have a rough idea.
Using 4 basic options on a Galaxy Tab.
Using QR codes like thus...
Could I get this to work?
cheers, Mark.

I guess that's a 'no' then.
Starting to become a recurring theme around here.
cheers, Mark.

Well left to my own devices I have stumbled upon a work-around.
For some reason the 2 CD items don't show up on the grid display on Samsung Galaxy Tab.
I guess I'll have to try and sort that problem out for myself.
cheers, Mark.

O.K. So I discovered you have to add them manually.
Select empty square and then select the image from 'item list'.
cheers, Mark.

After finally wading around the program, finally got it doing what I wanted.
Unfortunately as soon as I tried the final test, the reader was suddenly reported as
'Reader Damaged....use another reader'
So I had to request a replacement.
Meanwhile here's my setup thus far...

Hi Valentina.
I seemed to have worked it out on my own thus far.
Like most new software programs it requires some getting acquainted with the settings.
Certainly hope the 'damaged reader' is not a common occurrence.
Still have to test it out in the field so looking forward to the new reader showing up.
cheers, Mark.

So for my first 'field test' I discover on my Galaxy Tab A (suspected) that the orange bar above the app turned red and stated 'restore internet to take payments'.
So after much mulling it over and investigating I found a work-around.
Did manage to get my old Moto G to 'pair' with the card reader and took a short walk down the road to find that I no longer got the red warning bar.
Initially thought I'll need a Tablet that takes a sim card...but after further investigation found some good information from a Telstra site of all places.
It involves setting up an internet 'hotspot' on your phone and then connecting the Galaxy Tab A to it when out and about.
So for my fellow buskers this is how it's done.
Activating Wi-Fi hotspot for Android
1. Open 'settings'
2. Select 'Network and Internet'
3. Tap 'Hotspot and Tethering'
4. Select 'Wifi Hotspot' and turn it on.
5. Change the 'hotspot' name and 'hotspot password' and save.
6. Return to home screen.
Connecting your devices.
1. Turn on Wi-Fi on the other device
2. find the list of available Wi-fi networks and select your own wi- fi hotspot.
3. Key in the password for your wi-fi hotspot when prompted
4. When the connection is established, you can access internet from
the other device.
Tested my new 'cashless payments' setup in the field yesterday and got my first customer.
Didn't need to step in and he found that the process was easy enough to negotiate.
So far so good...
cheers, Mark.
