I (think) I registered then I ordered the device and downloaded the app to my I-phone. I just read that I cannot received credit card payments until I give my SSN, but no where in this process did it ask for it. Will I still be able to receive credit card payments?

Great question! If you have successfully set up an account then you are good to go! Once you download the Square Register and log in, the app will let you know if you need to enter in any more information to get started.
