Refund Transaction ID
Does anyone know if there is a transaction ID associated with a refund like with a sale? I am able to see the original transaction ID but can't find any identifier for the refund. We use an external site for registrations to an event and need to enter the refund transaction ID into our external site to help match up transactions.
Any ideas?
Ricky

Hey @RickyCaudle -
Wanted to get some more info on your question, so I can get you in the right direction.
Where are you looking at the Transaction ID for sales? Is in your Dashboard or an exported report?
I will keep an eye out for your reply👀.

Happy Saturday @Kassi_ -
The only place I've been able to find the original Transaction ID by exporting the Transactions to a CVS file.
I go to Transactions, then to the date the transaction happened. When I click Export, I can find the Transaction ID on Transactions CSV, Items Summary CSV, and Items Detail CSV.
I would assume there is some unique identifier for the refund as well but I could be wrong.
Thanks for looking into this!
Ricky

Thank you for clarifying!
When you export the transaction list the refund will show in the same line as the transaction, just as a negative under gross sales.
So this means it's going to share that transaction ID too.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
