Redeem Marketing Rewards

We recently created a marketing campaign on Square which allows customers to enter their email and receive a promo code. We can not find the redeem rewards item on our IOS pos. Has anyone else had this trouble? We have checked online everywhere. We have the most recent update for square app as well, so it isn't that.

Hi, if you go to Libary on your app and there is a list which included redeem rewards, press that and there is a place to put the code and that's it.

Thank you for your suggestion, but as I stated the issues is that it is not there. We have updated the app and searched the library over and over again but can not find the redeem rewards button.

Hi @Ellianos_Albany, can you try to force quit the Square app? (Double tap the home button and swipe up to close the app. Then open it again.) Since you've downloaded the latest version of the Square app, this action should ensure you're using that version.

 

As you know, to find the Redeem Rewards section and apply rewards to a purchase, you’ll want to visit your item library and then tap Redeem Rewards (it has a tag icon with a star in the middle). From there, you can look up rewards by the six digit code or the customer’s email address or phone number. This article has more info: http://squ.re/1RAjdAx. Did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm having the same problem.  I have the most updated version but the "redeem reward" is not an option in my item list.

I am also having trouble finding the Redeem Rewards button.. I have updated the App and restarted the app and Ipad several times to no avail.. any help is appreciated, thanks!!

Item for Rewards is marked with a Star shape ..and only says Rewards on it It is under your Library do a search for All Items close out your program and reload it if it has not shown up.

 

It is located under my Discounts    

Gift Cards ..then Rewards ...check that area of your items library

Like others mentioned above, I don't have the Redeem Reward item in my Item Library. I currently have version 4.44 of the Square POS. Also, deleted the app and reloaded. Do you have to have a reward coupon issued before the icon will show up in your list? Is there some add on app that is required?

It should automatically show in your item library. If that's not the case, go ahead and contact our Support team; they'll take a look an your account!

@llrsusanroachst - Have you already had a chance to make sure that you're subscribed to a Loyalty program? You can check this out from your Square Dashboard

Im still in my free trial period of the Loyalty program.  Is that why the Rewards button isn't popping up? 

If so, what do I do when customers are already coming in to redeem their rewards in this trial period?

Hello @purpledelight, when you visit your items do you not have the option to redeem a reward? You should still have this option during the trial period.

Try going to "customer" putting in the name, click on the name and then "new sale with customer" the library will come up and "redeem Rewards" will be at the top of list.  My problem is it doesn't remove the redeemed reward and show a zero balance due when I ring up a sale.  I have been tendering it up "other" and putting "redemption" in the note area.  But I would like to be able to keep track of who has redeemed rewards so as not to "double" reward and go broke!

Thanks for checking in here, @omascoffeeshop. That does sound a bit confusing — would you mind sending over an example of a transaction where this happened to our Support Team?
