Payment Types

Hello All, I am using Square for Restaurants POS with an Ipad and a square stand. When we go to cash out a ticket (Pay button), then choose more... the only option we get is checks. How do we enable Gift cards and third party cards or Certificates? What we have is a paper gift certificate called Santa Bucks that we sell as gifts. We would like to use these as tender and show any balance of the certificate on the receipt however, we cannot find a way to show the "other" options to use for payment types. Please help!

Hello @DonV thanks for reaching out, I am happy to help!

You will need to enable your payment type through the standard Square point-of-sale app, the white/grey app. Once you sign into that app you will go to More > Settings > Checkout > Payment. From there you can enable/disable all your payment types. To move the payment types hold your finger on the dots and then drag it where you need to.
