Need to run end of day on dashboard (i.e.remotely) for Restaurant POS

We have many transactions at end of day that are labeled "Awaiting Capture". To close these out, we need to run End of Day. It would be nice to be able to run End of Day on the Dashboard remotely. I'm sure I can add another iPad device and use it remotely and run end of day, but that is an extra cost item (or I could bring the iPad from the restaurant home).

Ideally, we don't want transactions to be pending with Awaiting Capture. The customer is long gone. Most customers pay by using the Square Terminal or Register and they have been given the option to add a tip. The transaction is complete and, like I said, they are long gone.

So, I guess I have 2 requests:

1. Run end of day on Dashboard

2. Immediately close out transaction after customer finishes paying.

Appreciate the feedback @eHotPot. I can see how being able to do this remotely would make running your business a lot more smooth. I'll make sure to pass this along. In the mean time, let us know if there's any other feedback you'd like to share!

Agree with this so much!!! I find that my staff is forgetting to run end of day.... a lot!
