Hi,
We are looking for a way to limit specific item sales per day.
Namely our picnic baskets, we have capacity and stock to fulfil 10 of these each day but can’t seem to find a way to allow 10 purchases per collection date. Any help?

Hi @Prettypots, thanks for your post!
The only way to limit specific item sales per day right now is to enable stock tracking for that item. That way, you can set a limit for how many items are available (for example, 10). Once 10 purchases have been made, the item will automatically go out of stock and customers will not be able to place an order for it.
If you are looking to limit it by collection date, then the one alternative I can think of is to create item variation and name it by the collection date. You can also track stock by variation and will be able to set a limit (10) that way as well.
It's definitely a more manual workaround but our team are always looking to improve our products based on suggestion like this so I'll be sure to share your feedback with the appropriate team as well.
