Is there a way to set transactions or items purchased to only one per person?
I'm currently having issues with people buying workshop series in multiples. Due to liability issues, I need to have each customer purchase their own so I have their info. How can I limit the items purchased to be only one per person?

Hi @leah913 this is a great question. Are you making these sales in person or on the online store? If they are in person, you can always tag the sale to the customer's profile to ensure they only have one per person. If it's the online store, things may become a little more complicated, but we may have some workarounds for you depending on what type of online store setup you have.
I look forward to hearing back from you. 🙂

It’s a dance workshop series that we sell online passes for. Because of insurance and liability issues, we need each individuals info. We’re having a problem all of a sudden with people buying for a friend or two.

What type of online store setup do you have? Is it Weebly or a eCommerce solution?

Weebly, I think. We’re not paying extra for the site. I didn’t even realize there was two different options.

No worries! Thanks so much for clarifying. So while we don't directly have the solution you are looking for, you may like this idea:
With Weebly, you can put an order limit on these items if tyou make it a physical item and set to pickup only. There’s no way to remove “available for in-store pickup” so you may need to add some clarifying verbiage, but you can also have them physically pick it up in stores to ensure that the order is for that person specifically. I have a screenshot of what it will look like below:
Let me know if you have any other questions! 🙂

Yes! This is what I need. I went in to try and edit it but the limit option didn't come up anywhere. How or where do I do this? If it's easier, you can email me directly at [Personal Information Redacted]. Thank you!

So happy this helps! Sorry about missing the steps to set the limits. 🙂
The limit must be set from Manage Store>Settings>Pickup>Edit Pickup Settings

ok, so i did all that. Now from our customer's point of view it's coming up unavailable. And so is another item. I've checked all the settings and options and it just doesn't make sense why.

Hi there, @leah913 - thanks for the quick response. I'm going to step in here in Ashley's absence.
In an effort to get this resolved in an expedited manner, I would suggest flagging this over to our Support Team. It seems like this issue may need more of a 'hands-on' approach.
