Is there a way to generate a QR code for the home page of my website?

I know how to generate a QR code for the shop all section and for individual items. But is there a way to generate a QR code for the main page of my site? I have some of my items in a consignment shop and I want to add a QR code to my sign that takes people to my home page not the shop all section. I don't want to have to use a third party QR code generator if possible.

Hello @EricLivesay and thanks for your question. Is this the site you're looking to have a QR code for? I put one together with software I have. I think there are also sites online that will create a QR code for you. I do not know if Square is able to generate a QR code for your home page. I hope this helps with your question.

For a code to link to your online store go to

online-->website --> site preferences---> scroll down to SITE QR CODE ( you can create and manage a QR under this tab)

Yes! This is exactly it. No need to use a third party app. I didn't know square already had a QR code built in for the home page.

Have to agree about creating the home page QR Code via Square - there are several online sites you can create what you need or go with the QR Code example provided by Hc-Charlie.   Also, here's a link to the online site we use.

Hey there short answer is YES.  Top left of your page after you've logged into your site need to be ONLINE.  Then click WEBSITE for the drop down menu.  Next your going to click SITE PREFERNCES.  From there scroll down to SITE QR CODE.  Then you need to open it up and export the code, save as into whatever folder/file you need.  Now its printable and you can share it.
