Is the mG-S8200 NTEP scale compatible with Square?

mG-S8200 NTEP Scale: If I buy the scale from another vendor other than Square will it still be compatible with my iPad and the Square app?

Yep—as long as the make and model is on this list of supported scales, you should be good to go regardless of where you purchase: Hardware Compatibility By Device.
