Is it possible to customize the Item Status banners in Online Store?

The title of this thread has been edited by a Square Moderator from the original:  "Does anyone know if there is a way to put a NEW banner across items that are new to my website?"

 

I am launching quite a few new items to my website and was wondering if there was a way to add a banner in the corner of the items displayed to show customers that they are brand new?  Does anyone know how to accomplish this?

Hey @mbpoland! At this time there isn't a way to add a banner/icon to new items to highlight that they are new.

 

As a workaround you could add 'New!' at the start of the Item Name.

 

Or you could create a new section called 'New Items', add your new items there, and then move that section to the top of your Online Store so it's the first thing customers see. 

 

To move a section click the arrows on the right-hand of an existing section:

 

 

 

Then drag and drop sections to rearrange them:

How about Photoshopping the banner into the picture of each item before you upload it to Square?  I don't use the online store, so I don't know if this would work, but it seems like a way to accomplish what you want to.

Is there a way to advertise free shipping on my item pics? I think I saw it before but now its gone.

I'm not sure if you can do this directly in Square. Another solution would be adding a text to your image in any image editing like photoshop. Not ideal, but should do the trick.

Currently, we only have the banners listed below available to display on your Online Store items. These options are listed on the Item Preferences page of our Online Store Dashboard.
