I want my items to show as un-avaiable, but are showing as available

Ive set up items, and for legal reasons, I'm not currently allowed to sell them.

I want to generate interest until I am allowed to sell them, so want to mark all items as unavailable, so I can publish gather interest but not inadvertently sell.  When I set items to unavailable, publish website, it still allows me to go to check out with all items.  How can I make unviable work?

Hi @sarahscellar, thanks for your post!

In this case, rather than set items to unavailable, you can toggle the Accept online orders button off within your Settings > Checkout section. That way, customers will still be able to see the items but they will not be able to place an order.
