Can I refund a customer for more than the purchase price?
Hello,
I have just started accepting payments on my 3rd party online store using Square. When a customer returns an item, I sometimes refund the customer the price of the item plus the price of their return postage.
Currently I am unable to do this using Square as you can only refund a customer up to the price of the initial purchase.
Is there a "nice" way I can send the customer an additional payment to cover the cost of postage using Square?
Thank you,
Aaron.

Hi @firebrand, thank you for your post!
Usually in this case, we would recommend sending out an eGift Card for the value of the postage but at the moment, eGift Cards are not redeemable on third-party integration. Another possible workaround would be to setup a discount within your online site and provide the customer with the code so they can get a discount for future purchases.
