@While there is an easy way to do that I’ll explain, just be careful. This sounds like it might be a scam - they might be using a stolen credit card on an invoice, and then purchasing items from you with the gift card.
It’s a lot safer to do that transaction in person with a tap/chip card than with an invoice. Or at least an eGift card through your website/e-gift card portal.
If it’s a customer you know and trust, then here’s how to do it — if it’s a random person that may be suspicious, and you might want to not do it.
Send an invoice for the amount of the gift card, start a transaction on your POS device and load up a plastic gift card to the desired amount, and then apply a 100% discount.
Again, be very wary because it very well might be a scammer.
