I cannot find the actual daily deposit report-NOT user friendly
I cannot find the daily deposit transaction list. I can see a transaction summary but it shows actual daily charges and does not actually show the detail of transaction batches after fees have been taken in order to match to the bank statement. This portal is now becoming very complicated. It has many unnecessary reports and none that an accountant would actually use to reconcile transactions.

Hello! I am glad that you posted your comment! I have been using Square for several years, but not terribly often. Normally, I can log-in and go directly to the page that shows the deposits. However, today I can't find it at all. I noticed that Square-up is having technical difficulties today. I am hopeful that THAT is the reason that I cannot find it. As I recall, it is usually found under "Transactions" in the main menu. Please don't be too quick to believe that Square-up is not user friendly, because normally it is really quite easy to use. I'd check back in a day or two to see if the issue is resolved! Best Wishes!

Hi there, @Kristiewhite76 - thanks so much for reaching out to us here on the Seller Community! So sorry for the trouble tracking down your Transfer Report. We have made some recent changes to the Online Dashboard - specifically to the Reporting Tab - and the transfer data has moved locations. Also, a big thank you to @CCPA for jumping in here as well!
You can now access your Transfer Reports by selecting the following:
- Select Balance from the left-hand menu.
- Navigate to Activity.
- Click the drop-down and select Transfers.
This report is customizable by date and should give you the ability to see the full sum of your deposit transfers.
Again, so sorry for the confusion! Let me know if you have any questions.

This issue is still unsolved. The only export function allowed on the transfer report page is to export a list of individual transactions. I want to see a list of the deposits made and have access to the sum total of fees paid per that deposit to match what goes into bank account. This is a long-standing issue and despite 30 minutes spent trying to get customer service to help, there is no resolution. I cannot believe that this is a difficult problem to solve. If I want to see the fees taken out of the bank deposit, I have to individually click on EACH deposit in the report and see the number, then click back to the report list. This is ridiculous and not worth the hassle. Please share if you have a work-around for this. No amount of exporting or changing the reports has provided what I need.

I've found a work around for this. If you go to the Tranactions tab, then "Export Transactions csv", you will get a spreadsheet that breaks down all the amounts that make up each deposit. There is a column for "Deposit ID" which is noted for each transaction, basically showing you which transactions were grouped together for a transfer. I ran a pivot table on the spreadsheet to group all the individual amounts by Deposit ID. Then I can also see the fees for each transaction, as well as the fees for the entire transfer.
I can't believe they make this simple task that we all need for reconciling deposits, so f'n difficult!
