I have saved my logo as a PNG, when I try to upload, it gives me the error message below:
Profile image should have content type image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, image/png, image/x-png, image/gif
How can I fix it?

Hey @IraysaG and welcome to the Community.
I'll need to know more specifics before I can assist. Where are you trying to upload these files exactly?
Like, what section of the Dashboard are you in?

I'm unable to upload a logo in square dashboard. I keep getting this error message:
Profile image should have content type image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, image/png, image/x-png, image/gif
This is under invoice in square dashboard.

What browser are you on @IraysaG?
It sounds like it could be something as simple as a browser issue.

I also have this issue. I have changed from using Safari to Google Chrome but still getting this error message when trying to upload a 2328 x 1144 sized Profile image:
Profile image should have content type image/jpeg, image/pjpeg, image/png, image/x-png, image/gif
Please advise.

Tagging in the person you responded to in order to see if they can pop in and let you know how they did this, @Empresse!
@IraysaG - any advice you can give, maybe the steps you took to get where you did?
Thanks in advance for your help!
If we don't hear back, please give our team a call today before 9PM ET, when phone support shuts off for the weekend.

SOLVED (For me, anyway!) My pic showed as a JPG, but when you click 'save as' a range of different JPG options come up. I saved as .jpeg and it worked.

My image was saved as a jpg and then I converted it to jpeg and I'm still receiving the error. I tried converting it to png, again I receive the error message. The size of the image is 1922x1080.

Welcome to the Community, @millsgreenfield 👋
Do you happen to know the file size? Are you able to convert the file to a .jpeg before uploading?

It should NOT be this hard to upload a background image for the POS background (On the POS screen - Location page!!! Clearly, it's a regular (and known) issue. It's 2023 and I came for help but seeing the lack of Square Team definitive answers to this question (it's the customers doing the troubleshooting). I am so disappointed and discouraged to use this!
