I purchased an entire hardware kit for a restaurant last week. I called and spoke to someone from support, as they charged out the card FIRST, then immediately sent an email saying that I would be refunded. They stated it had been "red flagged", but someone would be reaching out in regard to the account. No one did. They seemed baffled as well that my card would be charged (so it works), but then declined by square. I tried again yesterday to purchase the hardware and again was declined immediately (but still charged!). AMEX said it is not on their end, as I ordered addtional square ipads from amazon directly and it worked. I emailed yesterday and am unable to reach anyone about this issue. I believe in square, as I utilize them for my other business, and want this restaurant to use them as well, but you don't usually have issues BUYING start-up equipment. Please help!
