How to invoice and pay at time of sale

I want to create an invoice and mark it paid in one step at the time of sale.  I can not find how to mark paid until after creating and sending the invoice.

While this would be great. Our invoice system does not allow you to mark an invoice as paid unless you create the invoice and send it out via email.
