How do I stop the variation from printing on the receipts.

I would like to stop the variation to stop printing on printed receipts.  There are certain products where the variation is imbedded into the name of the product so printing the Variation is redundant.

At this time our system is unable to understand that the name has been included in the item name and because of this the variation will still get printed as needed per receipt configuration.

If you'd to share some examples I could look into workarounds to help with this situation.
