I'll start off with a guide for square.online on the web...
first log in on https://squareup.com, and open your square dashboard...
Secondly open the online checkout...
Then locate the item you will be creating a QR code for...
I'll be using my print Fisherman's Harbour as an example...
Click the Share button...
when you click share a small dropdown should appear with your choices:
click create on 'QR Code'
You'll be greeted by this page which allows you to save a QR....
Click download and a PNG file like the one below will be saved... you can leave this on a screen or have it printed and sat with the products to allow customers to pay that way, they will then receive proof of purchase by email, identical to an email you'll also receive!

For square POS app you can do it this way...
Open Square POS app

โFrom here navigate to the product youโd like to get a link to...
โ
click on the product and scroll down to the checkout link
โcopy the link...
then find an online QR generator (https://addr.bio has an option for this) input the link and make a clean QR code to download

You're a bit vague - but do you mean one where they scan & enter how much they owe you, without you having to really do anything?
If so, then go to the online checkout part of your dashboard & select 'Create Checkout Link' on the top right.
From here pick collect payment, then give your link a title. Under 'Advanced Settings' at the bottom select 'Allow the buyer to set the price' & save.
To get the QR code you can then select share from the list of checkout links.
