My wife had to manage our employees while I was away for two months, and now my wife and I both have account holder access as well as our employees. Somehow, we all have access to the same interface. My wife could not reach me to ask me how to login and then provide a verification code to each employee everytime they started work, so she changed it herself and now it's messy and anyone with acess to our login can access reports, customers, settings, etc...
How do I reset everything so that only my employees have access to the checkout keypad and not the menu items on the upper left-hand side of the checkout screen and that I have access to the whole administrative platform? Thank you.

Hello @GreenRoom123, I just got your private message!
It sounds like your employees are signing in with your login credentials, then a verification code is sent to your wife's phone and she texts it to them so they can sign in?

Yes, that is what happened. However, I at least changed the username back to my email address and the password too. Now everytime I log in, I get a verification code for me, which is ok. When the employees login, they get a verification code too like they're supposed to. But, I looked at one of their phones and see that they see the same interface that I should only have access to. Do you know how I can change that? Thank you Chad.

@GreenRoom123 okay I think I have an idea of what happened. On your Square Dashboard head to the Employee tab and see if the permission section is enabled on any of their profiles. Also you'll want to make sure all of their contact information is filled out.
It makes sense why they were able to see all of the information on the account. If they were signing in with your wife's email, password, and verification code they would have the same permission settings as her.

okay, let me try that. Just back on Saturday, I gave a verification code per the request of an employee, and that's when I looked at his phone and saw that he had permission to all of the "priviledged" data I should only see. Let me check it out, and if I have any more questions, I'll hit you back, thanks again!

Sounds good @GreenRoom123! 🙂
If you have 2-Step Verification turned on for your employees they should be receiving their own SMS codes on the phone numbers associated with their profile.

@GreenRoom123 glad you found it!
In case another seller sees this, you'll find the 2-Step Verification settings under Account & Settings.
