How do I keep inventory of a bulk item that sales at different quantities?
Hi,
In my store I have a massive jar that holds about 300 total gummies. When a customer comes in to buy some, they can choose however many they want (5ct, 10ct, 20ct) and we package it right there. If they buy more than 10 their price goes down a $1 per gummy, if they buy more than 20 the price decreases more.
I currently have each count set up as a variation and am struggling to keep up with the main inventory, because it only comes out as 1ct instead of a 20ct.
Ex: Gummies- 200
- 5ct- $10
- 10ct- $20
- 20ct- $30
How can I make it to where when a customer buys 20 gummies, they keep the right price but 20 gummies actually come out of the main inventory?
Thanks,

You may want to read this article about Discounts and especially about Quantity Based Discounts.
Link for Discounts:
I followed this to sell my 16 oz Candles at
1- $14.99
2- $24.00 (or $12 each)
3 - $33.00 (or $11 each)
Using the above link and creating the discount it applies it automatically for my 16oz Candles and keeps track of inventory.
