How do I identify a Square POS charge on my bank statement?

When you make a purchase from a Square seller, your bank statement will show the characters SQ*, the seller’s name or business name and the business type. Charges can appear on your statement in a few different ways, especially if the business hasn’t listed their name.

 

The best way to locate this seller is to check your receipt. If you didn’t receive a receipt, you can look up your payment receipt from this page
