How do I customize the Image Gallery for each item?

I sell greeting cards that are all shapes and sizes. I have been going to the image gallery for most of my cards photos to make sure that the correct view of my card is showing as I enter it. Example: card A is 4.25" tall and 5.5" wide but card B is 5.5" tall and 4.25" wide. Each time I change the view so that the whole card fits the allotted window and can be seen in its entirety. Today I was on my site and was horrified to see many of the cards were not being shown how I had set the image gallery. Many cards only had a partial view!  What is going on? Can I only have one type of view? I have 100s of cards in there and I cannot imagine rephotographing every one so it fits a certain frame!

Welcome back @kcbrit.

When it comes to images on your website we recommend that you edit the images by adding white space to the top/bottom or left/right so the images themselves have the same aspect ratio. The size of the image should also be 1000px by 1000px, as we find that these work the best.
