Hey @secondwindbb-
Thanks for posting in the Seller Community!
You can connect your UPS account with your Square Online Store within the Advanced Settings section:
I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions about this! ✨

Hello Alex, do you have an update on this? So far, we've had to manually enter each online order making our process very long.

For anyone looking for a solution, I found Shippo. Only thing is that it doesn't update the packing list if there are changes the order on Online Square.

Setting up store now and would also prefer to use USPS to ship my items. I have also clicked on "create label" in the Orders tab and it says I must upgrade the plan in order to create a UPS shipping label. Is shipping via UPS a requirement for a Square online store? If I don't elect to upgrade, then do I have to go offsite to create a label, regardless of which shipper we choose, USPS or UPS?

We currently use USPS, so I can only speak for USPS. However, we didn't want to upgrade either so we used a third party site (goshippo) to integrate our Square account. All your orders will automatically populate into goshippo and from there you can create labels and packing lists (which is great since Square doesn't have this feature). I believe goshippo also can integrate with other carriers including UPS.
Hope that helps!

We ended up using goshippo.com also, and it works great! Setup was a little tedious-you do end up having to have 2 different UPS accounts, or at least, we did-finally ended up having to get human help. But we're a month into it, and it's smooth sailing. I'm actually glad we were forced to go to UPS, since USPS has gotten wonky recently.

No new news of its future capability as of late. We'll circle back to let you know if connecting stamps.com is possible in the future.

Joe: if you have managed to connect with USPS I would love to know how. My experience was that online I couldn't without upgrading to a higher level. I have since found PirateShip.com who seems to be partnered with USPS somehow. Their pricing is wonderful (and joining is free) My volume makes this workable even though Square has yet to partner with Pirateship. Since it doesn't link there is a little bit of data input on the pirateship end. BUT the savings are worthwhile AND the platform is userfriendly, IMHO.

Hi Madeline,
I also use Pirateship and would love to know how you manage orders. I want the shipping to be accurate when a customer of mine checks out since I don't want to eat the cost of shipping. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

I just copy and paste all the info into the PShip form. Could print out labels on regular paper and cut and paste it onto packing container.

Hi Madeline! I get that PShip is a separate service and doesn't integrate with Square, but how do I use PShip and have the shipping calculated at the time of order? I'm having trouble with setting up shipping, if you can't tell. 🙂

Hi @webbieswhimsy
And welcome to our Seller Community!
You'll need to create a shipping profile to calculate shipping.
It can be calculated based on different things like order weight, total, or number of items.
It can also be a flat rate.
If you are using an external shipping service, you won't be able to use our real-time shipping calculator, so you'll need to use one of the options listed above.
You can find more information on setting up shipping here.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Hey @Shopaisquad!
Thanks for posting in the Seller Community. Sorry to hear about the trouble you're having with creating a UPS account from our Online Store settings.
I would suggest creating a UPS account on their website, and then try linking the two again by following the best answer instructions in this thread. Let me know if that does or does not work for you! Thanks again.
