How can I retroactively change the Location of an invoice?

We just updated the Location info on our Invoices screen to include specific recurring catering events, and I'd like to move some of our old invoices from the old general "Catering" location to the new location for a specific event, for recordkeeping purposes. Is there a way to do retroactively change the Location info on completed / closed invoices?

There isn't a way to edit an invoice, or any transaction, once it's been completed. 

Your specific use case is very interesting however, as I can see how moving the location detail over to the newly created location would make things a bit easier to keep track of. 

While you can't move them from one location to another, maybe you can create duplicate invoices with notes that indicate it was paid from the old location for your tracking purposes?

That might make things more difficult given that the dates wouldn't match up, but there aren't any other workarounds that come to mind.
