How can I manually add subscribers?
I'm trying to import their names, using the template, but it doesn't work

Hi @Michaelbecker! Welcome to the Seller Community! Are you referring to importing your customer directory into Square for email marketing? Can you tell me exactly which steps you've taken on the Dashboard to import your subscribers?

I'm not certain what Michael Becker was referring to, but we had a customer come in and ask to be on our reminder distribution list when we start our Pitmaster Classes, so I'd like to start a list for those people who are interested and have given us their contact info manually.

Hi @Tarra32! The best way to do this is to add these customers in your Customer Directory. You can create a group labeled "Pitmaster Classes" (or choose another name if you so prefer) and later send a marketing email to this group specifically.
Let me know if that idea works for you! We can brainstorm if you need a different solution. 🙂

Hi again @AshleyK , what happens if these people are already in your Customer Directory? I tried to create a group for them too, but when I try to send an email today, they are not marked as subscribers, so I can't send it to them. Thanks!

@michalbecker I checked with our Marketing Team and they stated there was a bug for this issue where customers were marked as "unsubscribed" even though they had no actually process that. In order for it to be fixed, you will need to call in and have them manually change the status of these customers on your account.
You can reach out directly to Customer Success at [Redacted]. Please keep in mind, you will need a customer code to get an advocate on the phone. Here is the link to get that code: squ.re/contactsqsupport

Hi @AshleyK ! Yes. I want to subscribe all my costumer directory so they can receive my emails. I tried to import their list, using the square templet, and marke everyone as Subscribed under Status. It still doesn't help.
Thanks!
