How Do you Enable a Button to Open a New Tab?
I've embedded a booking button onto my existing Squarespace website. When the user clicks the button I'd like it to open either a new tab or a new browser window.
When I tested the function of the code on my website it redirects in the same tab. I don't want the user to be directed away from my site in case they want to go back and browse.
How do I make sure the code will open a new tab or window instead?

Hey @ISpeakOrganized-
Before I make some suggestions, is this for your SquareSpace website? Or your Square Online Store?
Let me know! 💡

Thanks for your response! Ideally, it's for my Squarespace Website.
I have a separate website built for Square in the case that it's easier to embed it in a Squarespace page to achieve my goal here.
I'm trying to keep it simple and go do this directly from my Squarespace page, if possible.

I should maybe note that my business is service based, not product. I haven't figured out exactly how to link my square site to my appointment widgets properly if this is the route I need to take.

Thanks for clarifying, @ISpeakOrganized. It looks like from this article on creating links that Squarespace has a toggle for that option. In regards to Square appointments, it's really easy to integrate that with a Square Online Store. When you add a new item to your site navigation, you can specifically choose "Appointments" as an option.
