Help

Hi, i have just taken over a small cafe and delicatessen...I am using square but am using it as a glorified till.....i want to add all my inventory and set up online ordering etc etc...trouble is the day to day running of the business is getting in the way....I would like to hire someone to set up the system for me.  Anyone know of any consultants / hero's who might be able to take this on?

@MammaGs bit far from me, was thinking of popping in for coffee and could just chat! 

I think be mindful of what @doc_choc has said, Square is one of the financial backbones of your business so be very aware of what access you give to anyone. It is possible to set up extra users that could be deleted or passwords are easy to change if needed. 

If you get stuck, happy to FaceTime and chat about the options within square - just one seller to another. I use mine on a pizza truck, I'm quite good with the online ordering side but I've got no retail offering so might not be as much use for some of your in store options.

Hi @MammaGs Just keep in mind security aspects of your account if you decide to open up to persons outside of your business.

 

My thoughts would be to carve some time out and work your way through the setup and inventory addition. Square is really intuitive and by doing this you will be better placed for managing this yourself going forward, as I suspect you will be having seasonal inventory additions etc. There is no better way to learn the in's and out's by getting in there and playing around with it, and should you have any sticking points the community is always on hand to help out.
