Has anyone experienced Square sending out emails to clients other then receipts?

Hello,

I just had a client come in and say that she recieved an email from Square stating that on her next purchase (with my business) she could get 50% off her purchase?  I have had a couple of other clients state that they have received emails from Square, other then receipts and invoices, on behalf of my business.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I don't have their marketing option set up on my account at all, just an fyi,  Also, as I am a health care professional a lot of my clients do not want to be receiving junk mail.  Lastly, I cannot afford for someone to be sending out coupons on behalf at all!!!

Very strange! We do offer Customer Engagement features, but these would have to be enabled by you. 

The emails your customers are receiving sound specifically like our Loyalty Program. Can you head to your Dashboard and ensure that you don't have this feature enabled?
