Fix invoice logo after programming changes. Text in the header also is so small as to be unreadable

invoice header items way too small text unreadable logo way too small
 

Hadn't used this for awhile. Apparently some change they made in the headers has relegated my logo to the size of a small pea.  The text is also now 1/4 point type.

 

Very embarrassing when i had to deliver an invoice today.

 

I didn't have time to trouble shoot before leaving.  There is no way to edit it in invoices.

 

I need to fix this immediately! 

 

Should I go back to QuickBooks?

Hi there, @RockUT - stepping in on this one for Isabelle in her absence!

 

Just to make sure I am understanding correctly, are you physically printing out a copy of your Invoices from your Online Dashboard to share with your customer? If so, can you share a copy of it here so we can take a look?

yes.  That is what i said

I scanned it but there is no way to add the file   to the discussion. I was also told I do not have permission to upload images when i tried to copy and paste the pdf.  To describe it is the only way i can get you the information.

 

The header shows up as follows.  To the left is the "centered " logo at 1/2 inch in height.   To the right is the  Company name at 1/2 pt type (not 12).  Below that is the contact info , phone and URL, at 1/4 point type (not 14 or 10).  The text is right justified(!?).  the header background color is white except for a thin solid color bar at the bottom of the header.  I understood this was supposed to be a solid background. 

 

The remainder of the fonts are smaller than i would like but there is also no way to adjust them.

Hey @RockUT - Jumping in for Joe here. I was able to download an invoice to see what you are referring to. The logo that appears in your Square Invoice pulls from your receipt settings. Please head over to your Account & Settings > Business > Receipt to make changes to the printed section where you can upload your logo. You may have to play around with the image a bit before it looks like you wish.

AS you can see "printed" it appears too large.   on the sample receipt its fine.

 

but you see everything  on the header of a printed invoice is too small!

 

I just tested the email invoice and the logo only shows a place holder. did it twice.

 

My logo was uploaded and i uploaded it again with no change to the printed between different files

 

The preview still shows the logo centered and an appropriate size.

I wish there was an exact dimension/size image I could provide for printing. The best I can suggest is to play around with the size of the logo until it looks like you desire. An image can look different on a mobile device or in preview rather than on print. You can also check your printing properties to check if the size can be edited there.

following your advice i increased the size from 1275x 1650 to 11485x14850 with no change in the print out.  Period!

 

I still do not have the logo showing up in the emailed invoice.  It shows as the can't show this picture icon.

 

What's going on down there?

 

This is not the way it was originally.

I've  put off invoicing my customer for 3 weeks now.  I've tried everything you suggested.   No dice.  No change.

I  started with a 231x 300 and went to a  11485x 14850 pixel logo with no change. 

 

Can someone please help me?

 

It is also frustrating that the logo does not show in emails.
