Feature request: minimum/maximum load amount on plastic gift cards

I sell both e-gift cards and physical plastic gift cards through square. In the Gift Card settings at https://squareup.com/dashboard/gift-cards/settings I can set minimum/maximum load amounts for e-gift cards, but not for the plastic ones. But the plastic ones have way more overheard for us, given the cost of the physical card. I'd like to be able to set a minimum for these, so we're not selling so many $5 gift cards that cost us 95¢. I know I can disable custom amounts, but I don't want to dictate all of the denominations people can buy. I just want to be able to set a minimum (and I can imagine a max would make sense for some users as well).

Ah, I see - thanks for the explanation @TheParlour-Yoni. As you've noticed, these limits are not available for plastic gift cards. However, when you break down why this feature is needed as it relates to overhead costs, I can see the value it adds to your business. 

I'll bubble this up to the Gift Cards Team so can get eyes on this. Additionally, if any other sellers are looking for the same thing, feel free to chime onto this thread!

Hello! I am looking into setting minimums for plastic gift cards for the same reasons outlined by @TheParlour-Yoni above, this is an old thread but the only one I could find on the topic. Is this feature something that will be added? I still cannot find a way to do it currently.

At this time, Physical Gift Card amount limits aren't on the roadmap for our Product Team. The reasoning behind this is that these types of Gift Cards are sold at the point of sale and the limit can be enforced by you or anyone checking out a customer interested in a Gift Card. 

I have also seen other Sellers that add a discount (5% or 10% off as an example) to customers returning the Gift Cards as they can be reloaded and reused by your business as many times as needed.
