Failed refund. I issued a refund but only had a partial amount available.
I issues a refund of $200. There is only $100 in my available balance. Square deducted the $100 from my available balance, and tried to deduct the rest from my bank but was declined for insufficient funds. Square cancelled the refund and noted that it failed. However, the $100 was taken and not refunded to my customer. Where are those funds??

Hi @Ctatro1989, It's best to contact our CS Team directly since your issue is account specific. They'll be able to make sense of your balance and looking into the refund you issued.

I have contacted them 5 times. No one replies. I can not get a customer code. This is a nightmare. I feel like I'm being scammed. I open the account, take payments. Then all of a sudden my accounts on review and I dont have access to customer service. Then you take all my money!!

@Ctatro1989 if you did not have enough funds to cover your refund, then the refund has failed and you will need to refund it outside of Square before your case can move forward.
