Event Registration - Pay at door option?

I set up an event with several options for payments depending on membership.  We have some members that prefer to pay on site, so I set up a $0 entry for MEMBER PAY LATER.  Unless they add another registration, square doesn't like $0 sales and will not process.

Is there are work around?  I also tried $1 with promo code, overall sale still $0.

Anything done though your online store must have be at least $1.00.  This is the minumum processing amount required.  

Might look at one of the third party apps for a solution.
