E-Mail recieving money - possibly fake

I got an E-mail stating i recieved money. 

The E-mail was from receipts@messaging.squareup.com 

Can this E-Mail be trusted? 

It asks me to get a voucher card worth of 30$ is that normal?

Hello @EonA I'd bet you a $30 voucher card this is a scam LOL. Square would not ask you for money to give you money. If you made/earned a transaction buy processing a payment through Square, then that money should show up in your dashboard...and be able to be deposited/withdrawn as you normally would a Square Balance.

 

Sometimes an email looks valid, but the underlying URL code when you click could take you somewhere else that would be dangerous to click on directly. Go outside your email to the source website, login using your regular credentials and check on the issue that way. I do NOT trust any links inside an email as a precaution.

 

ANY request for GIVING money/voucher before you receive any kind payment...total scam in my opinion. If you earned it, the money is yours period.
