Dual Pricing but same stock?

Hi There

We're a little pub about to open for first time since March.

For many of our products like the cans and bottles we sell, we have a price for drink in and a price for take away but I can't find a way for those variations to draw from the same stock. I want to be able to load 24 total cans and once that those have sold out in whatever variation, it goes out of stock.

Is this possible to do?

Thanks

Malc

@Malc_Vaults I think @tonydow  has nailed it!

So Beer A has its price set to free & a stock of 10.
You set a modifier (& select the option so one has to be chosen) with 'Drink In' costing ยฃ4 & 'Take Out' costing ยฃ3.

@tonydow got to say that's awesome as means even on a receipt there is nothing that shows an 'stay in' fee/premium. I think you deserve a beer!

Hi. You could use a modifier set. Leave the base price at zero and have a mandatory modifier with Drink In and Take Out as options each with their own price.

Thanks Tony, although I have to admit I don't understand a word of what you just said to me!  ๐Ÿ™‚

Check out the Help articles on Modifiers. I canโ€™t be sure they will suit your requirement but worth looking through

You can see the principle on an item in my wifeโ€™s store:

Ah thanks guys. We worked it out how to do it but unfortunately that method isn't right for us as it means our customers will be looking down a long list of products that all look free and they won't see pricing without going in to each product which will be too slow in a fast paced environment.

Surprised that Square don't have a simple solution to this and also that we can't draw down on stocks from a keg or cask with different measurements of sale. iZettle has this capability but I don't like the clunkiness of that app.

Appreciate the help all the same.

Cheers

Malc

It still may not help, but you can make one of the modifiers as default so that they donโ€™t see โ€˜Freeโ€™ but can view it to change.
