Domain question
I built my website on weebly but purchased my domain name elsewhere. If I want to use my domain name, I have to upgrade from the free version. Got that. Now, it says I can transfer my domain name to square after 60 days. Will that still be free or will I have to upgrade at that time as well? I want to use a more friendly website (.com) and not have to rebuild my website. Help please!

HI, using a .com on a ecommerce platform will always be a Paid Plan upgrade option.
You stated you purchased a domain elsewhere, you can leave it there for the life of your domain name. You do not have to transfer it out to be able to use it. Once you are ready to use it all you need to do is adjust the DNS settings for the ecommerce platform for the domain to work for your URL and will be live after a few hours. To do a full transfer of a domain, means it is ported out of the domain provider to the ecommerce provider and can take up to 14 business days to complete.
Best advice is to first decide on your ecommerce provider, check the platform for their website editor, checkoff your lists of must have options, ease of design, ease of listing items, presentation etc. Most all ecommerce providers offer 14 day free trials to try their platform. Square offers their Free Plan for as long as you need it, then you can grow into their additional paid plans as needed.
