Do I need the Square Stand?

Do I need to purchase the “SQUARE” stand to use the cash drawer and printer? 
I already have an iPad stand of my own.

The Square Stand is no required to run your cash drawer and printer. The benefit to the stand is that it has its own built in swiper slot, and comes with a USB hub and contactless & chip card reader included. 

If you already have an iPad holder, you should be able to run extra accessories with a USB hub.
