Customer Pricing

Hello,

I want to offer special pricing on certain items for my regular customers - similar to Tesco club card pricing.

Is there anyway to do this?

Does the loyalty program have this function or is there anyway to set up a meal deal type discount so we can add a ‘loyal customer’ item that will trigger a meal deal price?

thanks

Hi @CoffeeCorner123 😊 thanks for your post.

Loyalty is a great idea! However, I have another option that may work better for you, and doesn't require any additional subscriptions.  By using information stored in your Customer Directory, you can use Customer Groups to create discounts for regular customers or your team members. Discounts for Customer Groups are automatically applied during checkout once the buyer from the group is added to the sale.

This would be easy to set up and navigate - I'll leave the steps below for you to test out.

Check out this article which details a couple of options for creating groups.

To create a discount for a Customer Group from your online Square Dashboard:

  1. Log in to your online Square Dashboard, and select Items & Orders > Items > Discounts.
  2. Click Create a Discount and enter the discount details.
  3. Toggle on Discount rules.
  4. Click Customer Group from the menu. Then click Next.
  5. Select a Customer Group from the list, or search for a Customer Group you want to apply the discount to.
  6. Click Done to save your new discount.

To remove a discount, select the X next to the customer group name and click Save.

Let me know what you think!
